The workshop part is the fun part. Driving the box across town on the morning of a birthday is not.
Build and pay in store as usual, then ask the team to hold the boxed bear under your name and confirm they'll release it to a third-party courier. Request a delivery below and a hopper collects it, bringing it to your house, the party, or the grandparent who ordered it, with live GPS tracking the whole way.
It also works for the birthday you can't attend: build it in the workshop nearest the child, box it there, and have it delivered to their door on the day. Drivers can't shop or build on your behalf, so the workshop visit stays yours. You pay the store's price with no item markups.
