Fogo To-Go is ordered and paid for on fogodechao.com or with the restaurant, under your own name and your own Fogo Gaucho Rewards account, because a driver has no way to add either one at the counter. When the kitchen has the order boxed, request a delivery on this page and a hopper collects it and brings it over, with live GPS tracking, SMS updates, and a photo confirmation on arrival. What you pay is what Fogo charges, with no markups on the food.
What arrives is not the dining room, and it is worth being straight about that. The churrasco service — gauchos moving between tables, cut after cut carved on the skewer for as long as your card stays green — only exists inside the restaurant. Fogo To-Go is a different product: meat sold by the pound, bundles built to feed four or six, sides and salads boxed alongside them. Ordered as a spread you slice and share out at your own table, it is excellent. Ordered in the hope of an all-you-can-eat rotation, it will disappoint. So the pound counts are the real decision here, since the quantity on the ticket is the quantity that shows up.
