The Palm has been doing prime steak and Italian-American cooking since 1926, and a to-go order from one lands on your own table tonight.
A hopper can collect a Palm order and drive it to you, but never buy one — so the pickup goes on The Palm's own ordering site, or by phone with the location, paid at the moment you place it. Give the pickup name in your delivery request on this page and a hopper collects it at the front of house, with live GPS tracking, SMS updates, and a photo confirmation on arrival. Nothing is added to what the restaurant charged for the food.
Two things make this different from a generic steakhouse ticket. The first is the lobster: the jumbo Nova Scotia lobsters here run to several pounds and are broiled whole, so whoever is sharing one needs deciding before the order is paid rather than after it arrives. The second is that the Italian-American half of the menu is not an afterthought — a veal chop parmigiana with linguine marinara handles a car ride considerably better than anything crisp, which makes it the smarter pick when the restaurant you are ordering from is not the nearest one. What does not travel is the room itself. The caricatures of regulars covering the walls stay exactly where they are.
