Once PDQ marks it ready, request a delivery on this page and a hopper collects it under your name and drives it straight over. You pay PDQ's own menu price with no item markups and no service fees, and the run comes with live GPS tracking, SMS updates, and a photo confirmation when it arrives.
PDQ was started by one of the people behind Outback Steakhouse, and the format shows: open kitchens, chicken breaded by hand on site, sandwiches and salads built when the ticket comes in. What that means for a delivery is that a PDQ bag usually leaves the counter at two temperatures at once — fried chicken that wants to stay crisp riding next to a hand-spun shake that wants to stay solid. Neither is helped by a long route, so distance matters more here than which location you happen to like best, and it is worth telling the restaurant to bag the shakes apart from anything hot while you are still ordering.
